I’m Jennie Lucas and I founded Kytes Consultancy to provide expert solution-driven help and guidance for all teams and professionals involved in travel services for vulnerable children and adults.
My years of experience and expertise mean I can enable you to offer the best travel services to the ones who need it most in the most innovative and efficient way.
I’ve spent many years working with, supporting and guiding Local Authorities, schools, parent groups, transport providers and the DFE with knowledge and understanding of the pressures and issues in the world of travel - especially Home to School Transport inc SEND and Social Care.
About me
My understanding and dedication to my work comes from personal experience - as someone with a father in a wheelchair I’ve witnessed his battle for the right travel solutions. As well as this I’ve worked for many years in operational roles running travel teams and have seen for myself the multitude of issues, this has made me passionate about finding solutions through collaborative working - I want people to know that I understand how they feel - whether a family or a council, always putting the vulnerable person at the centre of what I do.
